Product bundles
Product Bundles (screen Product Kitting & Bundling) builds finished kits from component stock — or breaks kits back into components.
Before you start
- Module Bundles / Bill of Materials enabled in Settings → Modules
- Usually Pro+ — see License tiers
- A bundle (parent) product and its component products exist
- Components have enough stock to assemble
Steps
1. Open Product Kitting & Bundling
- Open Product Bundles / Product Kitting & Bundling.
- Under Select a Bundle Product, choose the kit/parent product.
- Review Bundle Components (columns Component ID, Qty Required, Description).
2. Assemble (kitting)
- Check Available to Assemble.
- Set Master Project Quantity (how many kits to build).
- Click Kitting (Assembly).
Help text: Assembly deducts raw components and increases bundle stock.
3. Disassemble
- Select the same bundle product.
- Set the quantity to break down.
- Click Disassemble.
This does the opposite of assembly: reduces kit stock and returns components.
What success looks like
- After Kitting (Assembly), kit Stock up; components down
- After Disassemble, kit stock down; components up
If something goes wrong
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| Available to Assemble is 0 | Restock components first |
| Screen missing | Enable Bundles / Bill of Materials; check tier |
| Wrong components | Edit the bundle definition / BoM used for the kit |
