Reorder & forecast
Plan buying with What to Reorder (Reorder Dashboard) and Demand Forecast (Forecasting & Demand Forecasting).
Before you start
- Usually Pro / Enterprise for full forecast tools — see License tiers
- Sales history exists so velocity can be calculated
- Open from Products & Stock → Stock Tools ▾
Part A — What to Reorder
1. Open the Reorder Dashboard
- Stock Tools ▾ → What to Reorder.
- Title: Reorder Dashboard (Actionable items based on forecasting rules.)
- Wait if you see Analyzing..., or click Refresh.
2. Review suggestions
Each row may show:
- Location:
- Stock:
- Days until stockout:
- Threshold:
- Recommended Qty:
Empty state: No items need reordering right now.
3. Create a purchase order from a suggestion
- Select the item that needs stock.
- Click Create PO.
- Confirm success such as Created PO {n} for {product}.
- Finish the PO under Purchase orders (receive, bill, pay).
Part B — Demand Forecast
1. Open Forecasting
- Stock Tools ▾ → Demand Forecast.
- Title: Forecasting & Demand Forecasting.
- Click Refresh.
2. Read the grid
Columns include:

| Daily Velocity | How fast it sells |
| Days to Stockout | Estimated days left |
| Reorder Qty | Suggested buy qty |
| ABC / XYZ | Classification |
| Risk | Stockout risk |
Footer shows Rows: count. Sort attention to high Risk and low Days to Stockout.
What success looks like
- Reorder list matches products you expect to run out
- Create PO opens/creates a usable draft PO
- Forecast grid refreshes with velocities
If something goes wrong
