Attendance

Attendance is a daily register — for a chosen date and branch, mark every employee Present, Absent, Late, HalfDay, or OnLeave, then save. It builds directly on Staff, so add employees there first.

Approved leave (see Leave Requests) automatically fills in OnLeave on the right days — you don't need to mark those manually.

Before you start

  • You've added the employees you want to track under Staff
  • Your license tier is Medium or above

Steps

1. Open Attendance

  1. In the sidebar, click Attendance & Leave (open the Attendance tab).
  2. Pick the Date and, if you use multiple branches, the Branch / Location.

2. Mark the day

  1. Every active employee for that branch appears as a row, defaulted to Present.
  2. Change the Status dropdown on any row that wasn't a normal day.
  3. Add a note if useful (e.g. "Left early — doctor").
  4. Click Save Day.

Re-opening the same date later shows what was already saved, so you can correct a mistake by changing the status and saving again.

What success looks like

  • Every working day has a saved attendance row for each active employee
  • Days with approved leave already show OnLeave without manual entry
