Locations & transfers

Use Store Locations to define warehouses, shops, or vehicles, then move stock with Inventory Stock Transfer.

Before you start

  • Module Multi-Location & Stock Transfers is enabled (Admin → SettingsModules)
  • Your tier allows multiple locations (Medium+ for more than one — see License tiers)
  • Products already exist in Products & stock

Steps

1. Open Store Locations

  1. Click Products & Stock.
  2. Open Stock Tools ▾Store Locations.
  3. Screen title: Warehouse & Locations.

2. Create a location

  1. Under Add New Location, fill:
    • Location Name
    • Type: Warehouse, Store, or Vehicle
    • Address (optional)
  2. Click Create Location.
  3. Confirm it appears under Active Locations (columns Name, Type, Address).
  4. Use Refresh if the list looks stale.

3. Transfer stock between locations

  1. On Warehouse & Locations, click New Transfer.
  2. Screen title: Inventory Stock Transfer (subtitle Transfer Internal Items).
  3. Choose From Location and To Location.
  4. Choose Product and Quantity.
  5. Optional Notes (watermark Reason for transfer...).
  6. Click Execute Transfer.

What success looks like

  • Locations listed under Active Locations
  • After transfer, stock decreases at From and increases at To
  • No error after Execute Transfer
